As part of the monthly scientific meetings organized by the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology at Istanbul Medeniyet University Faculty of Medicine, the meeting titled “Current Treatment Approaches in Lumbar Spinal Stenosis (LSS)” was successfully held on March 26, 2026, at the Âşık Paşa Conference Hall with high attendance.
During the meeting, experienced faculty members shared their knowledge and clinical experience with participants from a broad perspective, starting from the pathophysiology, clinical findings, and diagnostic methods of lumbar spinal stenosis to conservative treatment options and current surgical approaches. Particular emphasis was placed on patient selection, development of treatment algorithms, minimally invasive surgical techniques, and contemporary approaches to postoperative outcomes, all of which were discussed in detail.
