A sapling planting event was held by the Department of Public Health in the garden of the Faculty of Medicine Dean's Office on the north campus of Istanbul Medeniyet University to draw attention to environmental health on September 26, World Environmental Health Day.
Faculty of Medicine faculty members and students came together on September 26, World Environment Health Day, to raise environmental awareness and contribute to nature. Students voluntarily participated in planting saplings in the event, which was held to increase green areas and contribute to an environmentally friendly future. The event contributed to spreading environmental awareness among students and raising awareness about the protection of natural resources.
At the event, within the scope of the Sustainable Development Goals "Sustainable Cities and Living Spaces" and "Climate Action"; Emphasis on encouraging environmentally friendly lifestyles, clean air and a healthy environment, and the responsibility of leaving a healthy world to future generations attracted attention.
The sapling planting event on September 26, World Environment Health Day, demonstrated the environmental awareness of Faculty of Medicine students and aimed to leave a healthier environment for future generations.
