In the first event of our club on "* Porfiria", Assoc.Prof.Dr. Gülbüz SEZGİN made a presentation.

* Porphyria: Genetic metabolic diseases known as Porphyrias occur when some of the enzymes involved in heme biosynthesis are defective.

Since it can be confused with diseases that show similar symptoms, unnecessary operations can be performed and the progression of the disease may result in death.
